Google+ For Business

Use Google+ to Reach Customers

Google+ for businessGoogle launched Google+ as a social media channel in 2011.

Like Facebook, Twitter and other social media vehicles, you upload a profile photo, about information, a background photo and interests. As a business page, you would typically use your company logo as the profile photo. Use the background photo that bests displays your brand (similar to that used on your Facebook and Twitter business profiles.)

When using Google+, you group people you connect with into circles. One circle might be existing customers while another could be prospects. This allows you to share different communications to each circle.

More Google+ users are males rather than females. The average age for users is 28 years of age and are professionals.

Google+ for Business

Google uses your Google+ account as the home base to all your other Google related accounts such as YouTube, Google Analytics and Google Local Business Listings.  All of these opportunities to promote your business are Google owned and promoted. Given the clout Google has in the search world, when invited to play in their playground, it makes sense to do so.

Google+ Hangouts are available free of charge for webcasts and/or online meetings. These meetings can be recorded and shared with those unable to attend the event online when it was occurring live.
